Getting Down and Dirty - the sexy side of finance
There is a sense of empowerment that comes from actually being able to make meaningful, strategic decisions in your business. There's a shift that happens once you understand how all the "background stuff" works in conjunction with one another. No more guessing. It's about real knowhow and actual numbers.
That being said, I get that talking about money is hard. Defining your worth is hard. Demanding your value as a woman under the societal standards and norms is really effing hard. Through this 3 hours of content, we're going to break it all down. We're going to get REAL and down and dirty with numbers (just how I like it), because the thing is, finding financial freedom in your business can only come from putting your head down and doing the work to find out what's best for YOUR business.
By the end of this talk, my goal is allow everyone to be a little more organized, understand the difference between revenue, margin, and profit, hone your inner goddess ...or lady boss, or bad ass female CEO (whatever you want to call it), and start to really feel empowered about OWNING your business. We're going to talk about business finance in a way that no longer makes math boring, but instead makes it exciting because it gives you power and control over your business.

While completing her MBA she founded Homeroom: a place for creatives to hone their business skills through in-person workshops and consultation -- bridging that gaping hole between creativity and financial freedom. Courtney whole heartedly believes that left brain and right brain can coexist, that creatives don't have to submit to the starving artist stigma, and that the more successful each individual business, the more successful the entire creative industry.
